I believe the most important thing Americans must do is to secure their economic well-being in an increasingly challenging, complex world. What I have written about all these years is the process of creating wealth, not for any one individual, but for the United States as a whole. Ever since I was a young correspondent witnessing the emergence of China after the country opened in 1979, I’ve believed we have to get more serious about creating wealth. I retain faith in the resiliency of the U.S. economy and the enterprise of American people. If Americans have the right strategies, we can once again create widespread wealth. China’s Brilliant Propaganda–The 21st Century Equivalent of The Big Lie
Wei Lingling of the Wall Street Journal (and a former OPC Foundation scholarship winner) and I have been wondering about the same thing–China’s incredibly brazen use of propaganda. Trump, promoting conspiracy theories, stoking domestic divisions and attacking President Biden ahead of the election in November…” […]
Tony, the Chinese already are interfering in America’s domestic politics
Secretary of State Antony Blinken gave a noble speech in Seoul yesterday warning that a “flood” of disinformation was threatening the world’s democracies, fueled in part by the rise of Artificial Intelligence. The New York Times speculates that he is most worried about the U.S. elections in November. But the war over the integrity of […]
TikTok is proving that China interferes in domestic U.S. politics
The fact that TikTok launched a massive blitz among its 170 million American users to halt enactment of legislation emerging from the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party is proof that China has no qualms about seeking to influence American decision-making. TikTok actively misled its users by saying the legislation would prevent them […]
