A leading Chinese professor gave a speech in China on live television in which he bragged about being able to fool foreigners and how China’s $3 trillion in foreign exchange reserves could be used to achieve power. And he also hinted darkly that China has friends at the top of the American financial establishment who help China achieve its objectives inside the United States.
