Most media reports about the fatal explosion at a port in southern Iran have concentrated on the loss of life. But the incident is one of the clearest indications that the People’s Republic of China is providing direct, lethal support to Iran in the form of rocket fuel. I’m not sure whether any of that fuel is intended for Iran’s allies in the region (Houthis, Hezbollah and Hamas) or is reserved for Iran’s direct use against Israel. But in any event, the Chinese are providing direct lethal support to Iran’s military. Let there be no doubt–China is literally fueling one of America’s most hostile adversaries.
