It can no longer be denied or ignored–Artificial Intelligence, whether used by China and Russia or domestic players, is having a negative impact on the very concept of democracy. The Big Tech billionaires rushing to create ever more powerful AI tools are doing it for one reason–to make money. As a nation and as a society, we should slow the pace so that we can learn how to adapt and preserve the things that are most important to us–and democracy is one of them.
