Dear everyone, one of the causes I have fought hardest for in my career has been the Overseas Press Club Foundation, which launches young foreign correspondents. We traditionally have an annual luncheon where we unveil our latest crop of winners, but this year obviously we were hit by the pandemic. Amazingly, we’ve been able to keep our program going by receiving 150 applications from incredibly bright college students and picking the very best 17. And instead of holding a luncheon, we are doing a virtual presentation at 4 p.m. on April 8. I promise you it worth tuning into. It will be a powerful moment. Here’s the link to RSVP.
